"Labelled as extra dry, I was expecting this to be accessible, fruity, and off-dry (much like a lot of Cava rosé made from trepat). This is decidedly a step up, showing a more sophisticated side of the category. It feels more Brut-like in style, finishing drier than off-dry to this palate, with crisp, mouthwatering acidity to balance the dosage. The fruit is also more restrained, with ripe red berries, citrus, and white blossom aromatics, along with surprising breadth and chalkiness to the palate. Nine months on lees has given the mousse a soft, creamy texture. Fantastic value for the price, and a wine that manages to be both serious and fun. The trepat comes from Conca de Barberà, with vines averaging 20 years of age." - Geoffrey Moss MW

"... Don't be misled by the Extra Dry label; this is not a sweet rosé by any means. It's rounder and softer, perhaps, than a typical brut, but the finish is mostly crisp and clean thanks to a stream of refreshing acidity that easily balances the dosage. On the palate, there is a touch of refined restraint, allowing the delicate red fruit to shine through. The finish is a blend of citrus and chalky mineral that extend the length of this well made, fair priced wine." - Anthony Gismondi

"Fun, fresh, off-dry. Made from Trepat, this pink sparkling Cava was aged 12-15 months on lees and is considered extra-dry, which is sweeter than brut. Expect an orange-silverish shade and notes of smoked nuts, crab apple, cranberry, tangerine peel and wild herbs and shrubbery. It's a fun off-dry bubbly with a creamy mousse, bright red fruit flavours, honey soaked almonds, peach stone and an orange/grapefruity finish." - Daenna Van Mulligen
