"Fruity rosé with aromas of strawberries, cherries, raspberries and watermelon. Creamy and flavorful, with a medium to full body and well-balanced finish. Drink now."
2021 -
"Freshly cut strawberries, cherries and grapefruit on the nose, following through to an elegant and fresh palate. A little light, but a dry, thirst-quenching rosé."
2021 -
"Tasty flavors of red berries and a salty twist. It has 12.5% alcohol and is medium-bodied and pleasant."
2020 -
"Disfruta opens with fifteen year old indigenous monastrell vines that come at 12 percent alcohol and are essentially bone dry. It is all you could want in a simple, well made rosé: dry, fresh, quietly floral with cherry/plum, and a clean finish. Only free run juice from a light maceration makes the final cut. Sophisticated fun. Back up the truck."
2020 -
"This new pale salmon-hued rose is scented with wild herbs and rhubarb, sour cherry and bitter orange, dried wildflowers, honey, quince and melon. It's a fresh wine, juicy and slick with notable red fruits and tangerine flavours layered with spice. Joyful and food friendly--think pizza or summer salads, seafood and tomato based dishes."
2019 -
"The bright pink rose 2019 La Bonhomme Disfruta was produced with Monastrell grapes and has a nose of red berries and an herbal touch, with a bittersweet twist in the finish. 8,000 bottles produced. This was produced at Rafael Cambra's winery in Valencia."
2017 -
"Bright peach, watermelon and fresh strawberry. The palate is creamy and lithe, really fluid and fleshy, delivering plenty of tangy refreshment. Drink now."
2016 -
"La Bonhomme 2016 Rose (Valencia, Spain - $14.95, Liquor Marts and beyond) Pale pink in colour, this rose from Spain is made from the Monastrell grape (also known as Mourvedre). Aromatically there are ripe strawberry and pear notes, with secondary floral and orange-peel components as well. This light-plus bodied pink wine showcases the ripe strawberry and orange-peel flavours nicely on the palate, with a splash of acidity that keeps things vibrant and juicy. Very quaffable (and versatile, food-wise) for the price."
