San Marzano

Primitivo di Manduria, Puglia

The story began in 1962, when 19 vine growers from the village of San Marzano di San Giuseppe (TA), whose families had farmed the land for generations, came together to follow their dream and founded Cantine San Marzano. Throughout the decades it has grown significantly and now attracts over 1,200 top-quality vine growers. Using modern vinification techniques, San Marzano produces elegant and clean wines that pay homage to the ancient Puglian wine traditions. This fusion of time-honoured tradition, passion and contemporary craftsmanship, enables the production of wines with distinctive varietal characteristics that reflect the essence of the local terroir.

Named Co-op Winery of the Year in the Gambero Rosso Vini d'Italia Guide 2022.
