Mezzacorona

Trentino, Italy

Mezzacorona lies at the foot of the majestic Italian Dolomites. Its vineyards with pergola trellising, characteristic of the region, run from Lake Garda to the foothills of the towering Dolomites. A fresh and wild breeze blows from the over 400 lakes and numerous glaciers of the surrounding mountains, peaking at over 9,000 feet.
Thanks to a spectrum of microclimates, ranging from Mediterranean and Alpine, and profiting from over a century of winemaking experience, Mezzacorona planted varietals in the zones best tailored to the needs of each varietal, allowing them to flaunt the aromas and flavour of their terroir.

Mezzacorona offers a comprehensive choice of DOC Trentino wines produced by the best oenologists within Gruppo Mezzacorona. Vinified at controlled temperature with refinement in barriques and barrels, the Mezzacorona wines exemplify one of the most well - known wine making tradition in the world. The wines of 'I Classici' line are typical of the Trentino DOC appellation and are produced with grapes cultivated in the vineyards owned by Gruppo Mezzacorona. The wines range from varietals native to Trentino, such as Teroldego and Marzemino, to popular international varietals. Modern and pleasing to the palate, these wines represent the vivid colours and intense perfumes of the Trentino mountains.

Mezzacorona is one of the oldest, continuous grower co-operatives in all of Italy, tracing its origins to 1904. There is a dedicated philosophy to leave as much to nature as possible. All vineyards are cultivated in accordance with the "Integrated Farm Management", to obtain healthier products respecting the natural biological balance.
