"Supple generous, delicious. Adorned in yet another Gil Family Estate's stunning labels, this Garnacha is strawberry jam, violets, sarsaparilla, espresso and baking spices. Equally plush on the palate it has an impressive generosity; mocha, purple fruits, vanilla liqueur and licorice. Supple yet fresh and undeniably delicious."

Antonio Galloni's Vinous, May/2017

2015 -

"(Fermented in small stainless steel tanks and aged for two months in three- and four-year-old French oak barrels) Saturated ruby. Ripe dark fruit and floral scents, along with suggestions of licorice and woodsmoke. Sweet and pliant on the palate, offering juicy blueberry, spicecake and violet pastille flavors and a bracing undercurrent of smoky minerality. The smooth, persistent, blue-fruit-dominated finish features very good focus and silky, slow-building tannins. There's outstanding value here."

Wine Spectator, Oct/2016

2015 -

"This round, smooth red offers plum, blackberry, licorice and smoke flavors, supported by firm tannins and balsamic acidity. Loamy earth and mineral notes linger. Drink now through 2023."
