Segura Viudas was established in 1945 when Sr. Segura purchased the medieval farmhouse known as Can Ebert and built a state-of-the-art facility with five levels of subterranean wine cellars. Sprawling over 445 acres of the original Can Esbert property is the Segura Viudas Estate in the heart of the renowned cava-producing region of Spain, the Penedes, not far from the city of Barcelona.View Supplier Page

"Classic, traditional, value. I've been a fan of this well-priced, traditional method sparkling Cava for many years. It has classic style, it's dry on the palate with impressive complexity. Expect aromas of toasted brioche, golden apples and crisp yellow pears with melon, soft floral notes, bright citrus and nutty undertones. Expect a persistent mousse and an echo of the nose with roasted nuts, toasted apple pastries and lemon curd flavours elevated by a creamy weight. An extremely reliable all around great bubbly.
